1. Who we are

Macaya.dev ("we", "us") operates the automation platform accessible at https://n8n.macaya.dev.

2. What data we collect

• Account information (name, email) when you sign up
• Garmin Connect data (activity FIT files, timestamps, activity type, optional health metrics), only after you grant permission through Garmin's OAuth screen

3. How we use Garmin data

We process your Garmin data exclusively to run the workflows you configure inside our platform, e.g.:

1. Detect a new activity FIT file
2. Parse summary metrics (distance, duration, heart-rate)
3. Store those metrics in your own chosen destination (database, Google Sheets, etc.)

We do not share Garmin data with third parties, sell it, or use it for advertising.

4. Data storage & retention

• FIT files are kept in encrypted object storage and deleted automatically 24 hours after processing.
• Parsed metrics stay until you delete them or close your account.
• Backups are encrypted at rest and rotate every 30 days.

5. Your rights

You can revoke Garmin access at any time in Settings → Connected Accounts, or email iker@macaya.dev to request deletion.
